Music software and video games are closely connected in PlayStation

Every action and event in this game is closely connected with sound. If you move from left to right it causes changes in song, advancing to a new screen within a level makes the chords differ, jumping on platforms or enemies trigger effects like a cymbal crash or synth riffs. So, you appear as a song-maker yourself.

This game is about move controller and making a game like a musical instrument. Every sound appears as four instruments — drums, bass, lead and rhythm! It’s controlled by Move gestures. Each of the four face buttons controls one of the instruments. There are so many actions, controlling your sound – waving the controller, holding and releasing the face buttons, holding down a central move button and so so on.

Now there’s no line between music software and video games. The reason is two new PlayStation games. Sound Shapes are the unique soundtracks. It reminds me Super Mario Game, and it’s awaited soon! It makes the game much more interesting and innovative.
